Excellent on a first time dinner visit. Was not a packed busy night yet early in the evening. The space is an experience on its own being half market and deli and dining room. Our eyes got focused on the meat showcase as we made our way to table close by. Servers were prompt and patient as we reviewed the menu. The Tuesday special was tempting while sandwiches and and Milanesa sounded like the winners. In the end we opted for a Parilla. Short Rib, Skirt Steak and Chorizo made for a perfect trio. Chimichurri is good here, maybe stronger in flavor yet softer in texture. Fries were salted lightly and cooked just right. Service was fine this time around, checked on us regularly. Won't mind dining outside of its an option when the season is right.

Used to come here 2-3 times a week but havent been recently until this past Monday for my husband's birthday. Food here is great as always but this review is specifically for YANINA. She's the best, especially handling small hiccups in service. We appreciated her kindness and professionalism.

I would give this place 5 stars but it's being knocked down for the rude bleach bottle blonde who works here. The rest of the service is fantastic but she really drags things down and makes us feel unwelcome. We waited for almost 20min for a table. 3 tables left during that wait and another family came in after the third table left -- despite us waiting, she quickly cleared the table for the other family & then acted salty towards us when we stated we had been waiting for a long time and wanted to know where we would sit. Not sure if she personally knew the others, or if it had to do with how me/my family look... but based on how shocked she seemed when my kids spoke Spanish I suspect it's because we are very white and my kids are naturally blonde. Based on this reaction, I'd venture to guess my 8 year old has spent more time living in Buenos Aires than she has, because we very much look like an average Argentinian family. I'm used to this kind of discrimination in Los Angeles. It's normal to speak Spanish to someone, have them clearly understand you... but respond in English because of the blue in your eyes. But I am beyond disappointed to experience this in an Argentinian restaurant, where the further south you go the more European everyone looks. I hesitate to share any of this because overall this place is fantastic. I waited to see if it was a pattern. But This isn't the first time this woman has been dismissive towards us while giving stellar service to people with dark hair/features. Everyone else is perfectly kind and respectful, and makes us feel right at home. They register the Porteño accent and make sure we have a decent view of the screen so we can root for Messi while we have medialunas that can rival the best in Belgrano. Overall we'd come here way more frequently if we could guarantee that rude blonde woman wasn't going to be there. But she makes this feel like the opposite of home. I will give the devil her due though-- her attitude made my kids ask if we could go to Argentina so we could be treated like everyone else, so we are now planning a long trip to visit their cousins, instead of their cousins coming to stay with us for the summer.

I love this place. Never disappoints. I went in to buy chimichurri salsa and a baguette. Both were very good. I had the sauce with tri tip sandwich. Then I had the sauce with air fried chicken wings. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

I came with my mom and good friend to get lunch on a Tuesday around 2:30pm. We walked in without a reservation and the place was not too full so we were able to get a booth inside right away. This is a cute and casual restaurant off the 405 which serves a variety of Argentinian food. They also have a bakery as well as a small section where they sell imported Argentinian and South American products. Our waiter was super nice and friendly! He accommodated all our requests and was very attentive of our table. We did not order any drinks and then were given this deliciously fluffy baguette with salsa criolla and chimichurri on the side while we waited for our food to come. I tried -Spinach empanada: delicious! Baked empanada with a filling of spinach, egg, and a little bit of cheese. The pastry was perfectly crispy on the outside while holding a nice level of moisture on the inside. The filling was flavorful and generous. This is one of my favorites! -Ham and cheese empanada:Fried empanada which comes full of cheese and bits of ham. This one was amazing!!! I had not had a ham and cheese empanada for a while but this one hit the spot. The pastry had a nice buttery flavor, crispy crust, and was not oily at all. The filling with generous cheese provided a perfect savory and creamy balance. The bits of ham added an umami punch. I would have ordered 4 more of this had I had room! Delicious! - Honey mustard chicken salad: this salad was so filling and generously sized. It came with a lot of diced grilled chicken, fresh crispy lettuce, tomatoes, onions, avocado, Spanish rice (which added a wonderful texture and brought hints of cumin and tomato paste), and a really delightful honey mustard dressing. I ordered the dressing on the side since I was worried it would be too sweet and it was lighter than I expected! The portion was huge and I could not finish all of it but it was a very nice light option. - Alfajor: for dessert, my mom and I split a homemade alfajor. It was a little hard to cut at first because of the chocolate covering but once we cut it, it was delicious! This dense biscuit was filled with decadent dulce de leche and had chocolate sauce on the side. This may have been a little too dense and rich for my taste so I am happy I split it with someone else. My mom and friend had steak dishes which they liked. My friend got a parilla chica which came with skirt steak, ribs, chorizo etc and he got a side of creamed spinach instead of the fries. The portion was large and he took a lot of it home. My mom got the 6oz lomo with a side of salad. She said it was good steak but definitely not the best she has had. Overall, their food is good and prices are pretty fair for how much you get! The staff is super warm and patient, and the place is really chill (there were two girls sitting next to us who hung out for 2 hours eating a piece of cake, drinking coffee, and playing board games)-- they will not try to kick you out, especially if it's quiet which I really liked ! Next time I want to browse the imported product section they have a little better since I'm sure I could find some great additions to my kitchen pantry. The food is good and their empanadas are particularly amazing so I will definitely be coming back to get my Argentinian empanada fix +/- food or desserts. Very convenient location close to the freeway so it does not feel like a huge detour. Highly recommend!

Great service and great food! Ordered the pollo al limón which comes with fries and it was so juicy and tender! Loved the citrus flavor and the herbs were also a nice addition. The fries are kind of like shoe string fries, super crispy and perfectly salted. Of course you can't skip the house bread and chimichurri, so much flavor and the baguette is soft and flaky. The waiter was attentive and very friendly as well. The restaurant also has a little market inside for Argentinian foods/goods.

Just had a lovely lunch here with my wife and it was an awesome experience. This is actually our 3rd in this restaurant but the other 2 were in a different location. First of all the place has a really cool set up and ambiance to it. Very clean. Staff are really friendly and always smiling. Food is exceptional. We had a completa parilla before and it was amazing. This time we had the chimichurri burger and their today's special beef creole with egg and they are amazing. Very flavorful and delicious!! Beef was very tender. The burger for me is in my top 5 burger I have tried. No complain. Their chimichurri sauce is very addictive and you'll just keep on eating and eating. More bread more carbs, lol! Pricewise is very reasonable. Their portion is also big so make sure you have room in your belly before you dine in here. Overall 5 stars!!
